Aaron McMillan
Senior Pastor
Aaron McMillan has served as Pastor at Centreville Presbyterian Church in Centreville Virginia since January 2020. Prior to his time at CPC Aaron has led churches in Alabama, New Mexico, and Michigan. Aaron’s passion is creating communities where everyday people flourish and bring flourishing to the world through the power of the Gospel. When he is not at CPC you will find him trying that new local restaurant, headed to the mountains with his bike or enjoying his amazing wife and four kids: Amy, Emily, Wilson, Lucy, and Josh.
Paul Lauerman
Associate Pastor – Discipleship
Paul Lauerman is a seasoned Christ-centered leader with over a decade of experience in engaging congregations, church leadership, and local communities. With expertise in outreach, leadership development, and mission-oriented growth, he serves as a compassionate mentor. Paul’s deep understanding of biblical teachings shines through his work in small groups and one-on-one ministry, providing encouragement, accountability, and fostering spiritual growth. He is dedicated to teaching God’s word and delivering impactful sermons that lead to lasting transformation.
Chris Hammond
Assistant Pastor
Rev. Chris Hammond is a bi-vocational minister who provides pastoral support at CPC and serves as a deacon liaison part-time, while working as a full-time federal career civil servant. He is also an ICF-certified coach, helping clients clarify values and set personal and professional goals. Ordained in 1999, he served at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama, focusing on adult discipleship, and later as a parish associate at Vienna Presbyterian Church. Since 2012, he has been involved with ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, supporting East Central Presbytery in various roles.
Chris holds an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, an M.A. in English from Emory University, and a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children, James and Claire.
