Care & Support

Prayer

Are you in need of prayer for yourself or your loved ones? We have a team of people who will pray for your requests.

Deacons

Our 16 ordained deacons maintain regular connections with assigned individuals and families at CPC, offering support through prayer and visits during significant life events like childbirth, injury, hospitalization, loss of a loved one, and transitions. If you need a deacon assignment or don't know your current deacon, click below to email for assistance.

Stephen Ministers

CPC's Stephen Ministry offers confidential one-on-one Christian care, with trained members providing spiritual and emotional support during life's transitions. Stephen Ministers are congregation members who have received at least 50 hours of training in how to provide high-quality spiritual and emotional care to people experiencing a variety of life’s transitions, especially the difficult ones, such as . . .

Grief
Divorce
Job or other loss
Chronic or terminal illness
Stress from caring for a newborn or aging parent
Becoming an “empty-nester”
Retirement
Relocation
Separation due to military deployment

Care is gender-matched, and meetings typically occur weekly or biweekly for about an hour. If interested in receiving care or becoming a Stephen Minister, contact one of our Leaders below.

Pastoral Counseling & Referrals

Our pastors are also available to provide short-term pastoral counseling to you and your family. They can also refer you to licensed mental health professionals who are themselves Christian or who offer expressly Christian counseling. Contact one of our pastors directly.

Physical Needs

Are you new to the Centreville area and feeling overwhelmed? Have you recently been in an accident, or had surgery? Are you having trouble covering rent, grocery bills, and utility costs? We partner with WFCM in Fairfax County and SERVE in Prince William County. We can help!
